Born and raised in Cobb County, Georgia, Mitch Durham attended college and law school in Georgia. He has been a criminal defense lawyer in Cobb County for over twenty years. As a result, he is uniquely familiar with the metro Atlanta courts.
Graduating at the top of his class from Georgia State University College of Law allowed Mitch Durham to intern in the Office of the Attorney General of Georgia and in the Cobb County District Attorney's Office. Clerking for a Cobb County Superior Court judge showed him how important integrity is to the practice of law.
It was early in his career that Mitch Durham knew what he wanted to do. During college, he worked in the Cobb County courthouse. This background provided him with respect for the law and created a strong interest in the area of criminal law. After graduating from law school, Mitch Durham began his career in criminal law and has been a defense lawyer ever since.
He is a member of the Cobb County and Georgia State Bar Associations and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL).
